United continue their FA Vase journey on Saturday with a trip to South Yorkshire and Rossington Main.

United are in fine form after a 9-1 win in the last round against Retford and knocking in 10 goals in their last 3 games, including 4 against AFC Liverpool on Tuesday.

Rossington, from the North East Counties First Division are effectively a League below Skem, they will be treated with utmost respect, they themselves having a good run of late and find themselves second in their respective Division, having won 8 of their 11 league games, scoring 34 goals, including a 5-2 win at Rainworth last weekend. The last time they reached the first round was in 2017-18, going down at home to Bootle 4-3.

Directions; M62 towards Leeds- to Junction 32A
Head South down A1M to Junction 35 – M18 Take first exit heading Rossington.
At the first Junction exit Motorway and take 2nd exit along the Great Yorkshire Way
After 200 yds at the roundabout take the 2nd exit.
Go over 1 Island and you are on West End Lane, the ground is on the right after 1 mile.
DISTANCE 100 miles, TIME 2 Hours

There is a small car-park available at the ground itself at the foot of Oxford Street, within the gates to the ground.
Additional car-parking is available at the adjacent Rossington Miners Welfare on West End Lane. From here supporters can walk along West End Lane and down Oxford Street, or across the Welfare fields to the Oxford Street ground.
For high profile matches or anticipated large attendances the club will often seek additional parking at the nearby Pheasant Bank School or by the cricket field off West End Lane.
For the benefit of local residents We would request that visitors avoid parking on Oxford Street itself or the neighbouring residential streets.

NORTH WEST COUNTIES LEAGUE

United return to North West Counties action on Tuesday 28th September, when they take the short trip to IRLAM. United beat the Manchester men 5-1 in the FA Cup recently but they have shown improved form and have won 5 of their last 6 matches since the Cup game.

Its back to the JMO on Saturday 2nd October when Ashton Athletic are the visitors.
