Other highlights; Very good debuts for Mark Lovell and Anthony Lees. Mark Lovell hit the woodwork twice and forced the keeper into several good saves. Anthony could have scored and was always a threat with his pace and work rate. Carvy hit the woodwork and also made the keeper make a couple of good saves. The Westgate keeper had a blinder!
They were a real good bunch and kept at it for 90 minutes. A shame they weren’t promoted as they would add to the division and hold their own.
Delo was excellent throughout, scoring a deserved goal, and Russ had a really good game as holding MF. Recycled the ball really well
