Ed Turner and Jordan Jackson-Bailey's Sleights clinched the double over Rosedale but had to endure a nervy final five minutes.
The visitors raced ahead but were quickly pegged back. However a strong display saw the away side race into a 4-1 lead, thanks to a Joe Hugill brace and further goals from Sam Russell and man of the match midfielder Luke Jackson.
However, Rosedale clawed their way back with two late strikes making it 4-3.
The men in black and white clung on to just about stay in touch with leaders Kirkbymoorside Reserves.
