New Players Welcome at All Levels & Age Groups
We are actively recruiting new players and are keen to swell our ranks with players from all levels and age groups.
Our Senior section consists of 3 teams. The Slough RFC First team currently plies its trade in the Wadworth 6X Southern Counties North.
Both our First and Second teams normally play on a weekly basis whilst our Third team play around once a month.
Senior training is Tuesday and Thursday Evenings starting at 7.30pm.
Slough RFC has a track record of producing quality home grown talent – Paul Rendall, London Wasps and England Legend, Anne Flynn; Army and England Ladies Legend and more recently Gareth Evans the Royal Marine hero who has played for London Welsh, Cornish Pirates, Plymouth Albion and the Royal Navy. You may recall that Gareth scored the winning try for the Navy against the Army in 2010.
Slough RFC also hold strong affiliations with Buckinghamshire Rugby and players from Slough routinely represent the Club at County level.
Rugby at Slough RFC:
Slough RFC was founded in 1928 and has enjoyed 90 years of quality rugby. The wide-open spaces of our four flood light Tamblyn Fields pitches promote an expansive, fast-paced game.
Across 3 teams we offer senior rugby for all abilities, from the older, more social player through to the most competitive amateur.
Slough RFC combines successful rugby on the field with a friendly family environment, centered around a large clubhouse, though a good knees-up is also enjoyed from time-to-time!
The club aims to provide the best environment for an amateur setup. Slough RFC has a clear development plan in place to ensure it continues to improve in its pursuit to support a progressive infrastructure for the players, captains and coaches, inclusive rugby at all age groups and a welcoming social environment for all members.
