Presiding over the event were Youth Chairman Colin Austin and Club President Ray Gagnon. Also in attendance were Slough RFC Director of Rugby, Matthew Fenwick, and Club Captain, John Spandley.

All players received a memento award at the ceremony.
A Player of the Season award for each age group followed before the annual section-wide trophies were presented.
The John Spandley Award for Perseverance went to U9/10s player Luscious Nxumalo. James Moore from the U12s won the Junior Player of the Year title while teammate Jack White picked up the Mick Curley Fair Play Award.

Volunteers’ efforts also received recognition at the ceremony.
U9/10s coach Blair White was named as Coach of the Year, Gareth Morgan was presented with the Neville Cup, Jessica Hammond received the Vase and Samuel Woolnough took the Colin Williams Cup for efforts above and beyond.

This weekend our youth rugby season came to a close with the annual awards ceremony.
I am very proud of all of our players, coaches, parents and volunteers who turn up every Sunday to support the club.
Watching our young players develop their skills and demonstrate the core values of Rugby (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship) is always a pleasure.
