Slough made a good start with some well worked moves however SCOB’s defence was superb and despite a few promising attacks Slough couldn’t break through. A penalty awarded to Slough 10mins in was successfully kicked by Max Miles to open the scoring (3-0)

SCOB then unleashed their attack. Slough held firm but SCOB played a good hard game until they went over for a converted try and ended the Greenies lead. (3-7)

A good run from Slough no.15 took the ball right to the try line however foul play gave SCOB the chance to clear it and an amazing run from the visitors saw them go through 5 Greenie players to score. Unconverted. (3-12)

2 minutes later SCOB intercepted a Slough pass and crossed the line again. Converted (3-19)

Slough then launched a great attack, setting up camp on SCOB’s try line and testing the defence hard and fast as they worked the ball up and down the line but despite their best efforts they were unable to get through and put points on the scoreboard.

Another pacey SCOB attack then saw the visiting team run the length of the pitch to go over and into the half time break with a healthy 3-24 lead.

Slough made a good start again after the break, taking the ball straight to SCOB’s try line however they just couldn’t break through and SCOB ran the ball back to score. Unconverted (3-29)

Another great run from SCOB 20 mins later added a further 7 points to their tally before they sealed the deal with another on the brink of full time.
