Slough U10's with Phoenix and Staines

We welcomed two local teams from Phoenix and Staines seeing some familiar friends and new faces for our first games of the season. 27 players came together and shared the first half with training with bulldog, rucking practice, skills zones with tackle bags, tackles tubes, and ball skills.

The second half of the session saw two games take place with a mix of Slough and Staines playing one another; and Slough v Phoenix.
Slough played with lots of good teamwork and enthusiasm with good passing combinations and support play from all the team. Peter made some strong runs with support from Jess, Amayih. Jack and Rishi made some good runs too with support from Dylan and Freddie leading to Freddie making a great run and try.
James and Zachary made some strong tackles and their pace led to them scoring a couple of tries each.

We wish to express our thanks to our friends from Phoenix and Staines for contributing to an enjoyable session of training and games. All three clubs played the game in good spirit and the core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship were evident throughout.
