I was introduced to WC RL by Ssgt Steve Sampher. He asked me to participate in Hull FC WC team. I was pleasantly surprised how much it resembles the game we used to play and how much fun it was, it was great been able to compete again and get the comrade back. Steve also asked me to represent the Army Team. Been apart of a team with ex soldiers with similar backgrounds and carrying physical and mental injuries was like therapy in its self, to talk to one another and for us to understand one another, was like a great weight off your shoulders. And to then play along side one another and spend social time together along with the Soldiers League family is the closest we get back to what we lost.

The Army RL Wheelchair season starts with a 4s Competition in Wigan on the 1st of March the competition starts at around 11:00 hrs.
