Dan Elliot Eulogy

Since having my leg amputated last year I’ve found it hard to find something that sparked my interest and gave me my drive again to focus on something other than my injury. Wheel chair rugby league gave that to me, the passion for playing rugby again that I thought I would never have again is back, and physically I am stronger and fitter because I want to be better than everyone I play against. Mentally I am stronger and happier because I am pushing myself again and having fun. I am truly thankful to the sport and The Soldiers League Charity, the people that I’ve meet and constantly push the sport to become better. Sadly I live down south which doesn’t have a big following for the sport, but I’ll do my best to spread the word.
