King’s Heath Men’s 1s – 2, Solihull Blossomfield Men’s 1s – 2
Solihull Blossomfield Men’s 1s travelled to Kings Heath to play in a tight match that ended all square. Bloss were the stronger team from the start, but saw many chances go amiss due to some good shot-stopping from the Kings Heath keeper. The hosts then took the lead against the run of play with a well worked goal, before a mistake in midfield gave Kings Heath their second goal. Shortly before half-time, Aamer Chaudhry put away Cameron Mowat’s through ball to keep Bloss in the game.
Bloss continued their attacking style of play deep into the second half, failing to capitalise on their chances and short corners they created. With 20 minutes to go, Nisar Chaudhry drove into the D and unleashed a vicious strike at the near post to draw Bloss level. The game ended 2-2, a result Bloss may be disappointed with in their final friendly of pre-season.
