Solihull Blossomfield Men’s 1s travelled to Sutton Coldfield to play a tough match that the home side won 5-1. Bloss were more than a match for the home side in the first half, creating many chances, and giving very few to the opposition, taking them into half time at 0-0. However, Bloss began to struggle to deal with Sutton’s attacks and a quick 10-minute spell midway through the second half saw Sutton score 4 goals, leaving Bloss with little hope. A fifth goal saw any Bloss hope of a fightback taken away, and Alex Bevins’ cool finish into the corner late on allowed Bloss a small consolation on a tough afternoon.
