Solihull Blossomfield Men’s 1s travelled to top of the league Cannock 1s to play a tough game which the hosts won 6-3. Bloss started off with a more defensive display, neutralising Cannock’s attacks for some time and were unlucky to concede twice before halftime, with Ben Rabone making some good saves in the process. Cannock came out strong in the second half and added 2 more before Nisar Chaudhry converted a penalty flick for the visitors. Cannock scored again before Matt Pole managed to score from an outrageous angle while sliding at the back post. Pole grabbed another goal with a fine finish after Cannock’s 6th was converted, with Bloss putting in a courageous performance against the high-flying leaders.
