Solihull Blossomfield Ladies 3's hosted KL Ladies 5's in a late afternoon match. Blossomfield took some time to get into the game and KL took advantage attacking the game and scored first. Bloss responded well, attacking and getting the ball into their opponents half and their D. A number of opportunities were defended well by the Leamington defence.
Early in the second half captain Mandy Bevins scored with a powerful strike from the top of the D to level the score. The game was well matched with Blossomfield having more opportunities within the second half with a number of near chances which were defended well by KL however it was a late goal from a short corner that proved the winner for KL.
