VOLUNTEERS ARE ESSENTIAL IN FOOTBALL
Some 400,000 People Keep The Game Running Through Various Club Roles, Such As Welfare Officers, Club Secretaries And Treasurers.
By volunteering, not only are you helping others, but you are also opening up opportunities to move into full-time roles at professional football clubs or organisations in sport in the future.
The FA is committed to supporting the volunteers in club football that make up the backbone of the grassroots game.
A well-run club should feature the backroom staff of a Fixtures Secretary, Fundraisers, a Club Welfare Officer and a Chairman to oversee the Club’s constitution, as well as frontline first-aiders to act as physios and team coaches.
Solihull Ladies United relies on the contribution made by volunteers. We are always on the lookout for people to come on board with the club and share the journey we are on.
