We are delighted to announce our retained list of players for the 2019/2020 season.
We are looking forward to building on our excellent 2018/2019 season and believe that the squad is already in great shape to maintain our challenge for promotion next season. We also hope to be able to further strengthen the squad over the summer months.
Kyle Storer, Danny Wright and Jamie Reckord all had specific clauses within their individual contracts which have triggered, meaning their contracts automatically extend for a further season.
We say goodbye with grateful thanks to Jermaine Hylton, Kwame Thomas and Marshall Willock.
Jermaine will be leaving the Moors after two seasons at the Club. The 25-year-old made 82 appearances in all competitions and scored 18 times. Hylton played a key role during his two-year stint, helped the Club survive relegation before scoring 12 league goals as a second-placed finish was secured this season.
Kwame, like Jermaine, was a key figure in in the great escape side of 2017/18. He made 46 appearances in total and scored four goals.
Defender Willock will also depart having made one solitary appearance after re-signing for the Club in August 2018. His season was mainly spent on the treatment table with injury and we wish him all the best as he continues his road to recovery.
Contracts have been offered to Adi Yussuf and Jordan Murphy.
