The umpire blew his whistle long and hArd to initiate the game. Wendy prematurely miss fired her shot to kev, luring south Berks to intercept her load and came early towards the D.

South berks penetrated Maipo’s D with purpose and aggression winning a short corner. The protection failed and south Berks conceived. Sonning are not phased to come from behind.
Sonning ramped up the energy and applied some extra lubrications to their team movements and plunged into the D. Kp slapped her ball towards an open Kev who knew exactly what to do with it and as she started to get her rhythm we knew we were close- as the ball reached its climax Galli seized it with the end of her stick and full net penetration was made.

Wendy was as dry as the desert with jealousy and knew she needed to perform- she pulled out her mojo and presented her best move- once again kev was wide open, dripping with desire- she greedily grasped the ball and rolled it across her body and fired it strong and hard into the bottom corner. 2-1 to sonning.

Sonning’s final penetration was down to the p-dog position, on a day to day basis a stranger to the ball- Pikey exploded onto the backboard. Sonning 3-1, south Berks stunned by her trajectory.

At the time of the final blow, the pleasure was all Sonning’s, some would say, a selfish performance.
