Sonning ladies 5's V Bicester 4's

A late pushback for Sonning ladies fives...a home match against Bicester.

A great match from start to finish.

Captain Lynn bravely stepped up to take Tori's place in goal this week, but sadly a very amusing "stepover the ball " moment gave Bicester there one and only goal. We all had a giggle over it and soon got back into the game, Lynn redeemed herself by making some fantastic saves .

Everyone played well and some super play from Gali Georgia Rosa, Daisy and Jules ....Lisa and Kay played brilliant up front ..Lisa clipped in a goal which was sadly disallowed..(ref had blown for a short corner)

The back four were strong in defence and we had Melissa make her first appearance in ladies hockey, and she had a brilliant game.

All in All a great match ....shame about the score line
