It was not all bad, Southam got the first score, from a ruck on the Evesham 22, scrum half Phil Nicols, sneaked up the blind side for the try. The forwards dominated in the scrum, line out and the loose and slowed the scoring down by using pick and drive from outside the 22 on two occasions for tries for props Charlie Gilkes and Captain Will Bostock.

For the forwards 2nd row, James Rawbone & Sam Deming stood out and for the backs Nicols harassed all game and full back Charlie Munro made some crunching last gasp tries to stem the rampant Evesham backs
