Southampton Spitfires fully supports the RFL’s RESPECT Campaign.
The aim of the RESPECT campaign is to maintain and enhance the environment in which the game is played at all levels and discourage unsporting behaviour, foul or illegal behaviour and acts of violence both on and off the pitch. It also reinforces the concept of fair play and condemns the use of recreational and performance enhancing drugs.
Southampton Spitfires' aim is to provide a suitable environment for every participant to enjoy both taking part in and watching Rugby League. Participants in the game of Rugby League include players, parents, spectators, coaches, match officials, volunteers and administrators.

Every person who attends a Rugby League match does so with the permission and license of the home club and/or league. Breaches of this code of conduct may result in penalties up to and including a fine, loss of team match points and suspension.

The RFL has launched a new game wide ‘Tackle IT’ Equality and Diversity programme which aims to increase awareness of issues such as racism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination and prejudice within Rugby League.
The Spitfires are proud to support the 'Tackle It' campaign and have adopted the RFL's equality policies to combat racism in the sport.
