'The main priority for the club is to keep everyone safe, and your assistance with that is greatly appreciated'

'It is important any player or official from last Saturday's games self-isolates for 10 days'
- Mark Andrews – SDCC chairman

Dear Member

As you maybe aware several of our members have tested positive for COVID-19 after the games played at the weekend.

Due to the multiple cases we, as a club, have decided to suspend all cricket activity until Tuesday, July 13. This includes the Saturday league games and practises.

It is important that any player or official from either of the games last Saturday abides by the latest government guidance and self isolates for 10 days, details can be found at www.gov.uk/coronavirus. The main priority for the club is to keep everyone safe, and your assistance with that is greatly appreciated.

We have asked the league to rearrange the games so that they can be played at a later date.

I would like to thank everyone for their understanding and I look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Stay safe and well

Mark Andrews
