Kendall Colman returned from injury to play for Southend & Benfleet at Sevenoaks. This was a battle between Sevenoaks’ attackers and Southend & Benfleet’s defence of Sandy Pass, Nina Dabbs and Kerry Payton, bolstered by Caitlin Meredith who dropped in from midfield. Southend & Benfleet were pleased to make it to half-time with the score at 0-0. In the second half they were hit again and again with a tidal wave of penalty short corners. Goalkeeper and player of the match Lisa Hawkins made some phenomenal saves to keep a clean sheet and get a most needed point for the team. Captain Nina Dabbs said "This feels like a win!"
