Southend & Benfleet gained a vital 3 points in a thrilling win against Havering. Southend & Benfleet were in a no-nonsense mood as they battered Havering to go 5-1 up at half-time. Player of the match, Kirsty Durban, set Karen Burgess up with two goals before scoring two herself taking on the Havering goalkeeper in open play and then with a penalty flick. Naomi Barker scored from a short corner in her comeback match for the first team.

In the second half Havering managed to close the gap but Caitlin Meredith added to their pain with another S&B goal which seemed to bend from the left over to the right post. Final score 6-4.
