The girls put up a good fight in their final match before the Christmas break. Old foes Chelmsford scored against the team but the final score didn't reflect how well S&B played as a team.
Aimée Cole was the sole scorer of the game. She scored a rebound from a short corner, sweeping it past the keeper in the first half. Unfortunately the girls weren't able to score any more even though they dominated for most of the game.
Nicole Rutter won player of the match. Midfield all put a lot of effort into the match which made a huge difference to the teams overall performance but Rutter stood out with her sprints along the right wing.
