McDonalds owners Justin and Eterei Stonelake are thrilled to be a part of the Southern United team again!

Husband and wife Justin and Eterei Stonelake, the owner-operators of McDonald’s Dunedin, shared their thought process on why they partnered with the club for another season. Justin said: “When making the decision to partner with Southern United, we had a few considerations;

“Does this sporting body support equality within their sport? Do they have the infrastructure to achieve sustainable success? Do they have a vision, structure and resources to support their sporting community? On all these points, Southern United were a resounding yes!,” Stonelake added.

“Therefore, the collaboration to work together for the benefit of our community was founded. We are very proud to partner for the future growth of football in this region. Football South has been instrumental in leading equality, engagement in the community and the growth in numbers of those actively participating in sport. That’s a classic win-win for all involved.”

Throughout the sponsorship McDonalds have provided Southern United and Football South with an unprecedented amount of kit, football gear and more that is all hugely appreciated by the footballing community.

We are so grateful to McDonalds and their sponsorship and we can’t wait for another exciting season ahead!
