Based at Bond Street in Dunedin, Platinum Recruitment, are changing the game of recruitment agencies by ‘anticipating new trends, striving to create higher recruitment standards.’

Something Daniel Harmes, the Director of Platinum Recruitment, and his team are extremely enthusiastic about is helping young aspiring women achieve their career goals, which is why they have become one of the leading sponsors for the women’s team this upcoming season.

With a vision of putting the customer first and working closely with their partners, Platinum strive to offer the best and most effective support possible to its clients.

Harmes is extremely excited for the partnership between Southern United and his company. He said: “We are committed to support women in all walks of life to close the gender pay gap and so this partnership is really exciting for us.

“We feel it’s time we give women’s sport the recognition it deserves. We want our kids to see female athletes achieving incredible victories, giving them sporting heroines to look up to who could be role models for them,” Harmes added.

CEO of Southern United Chris Wright is also delighted with the partnership. He said: “We’re really excited about working with Daniel and the team at Platinum Recruitment more closely as key partners with Southern United Women.

“We have a lot of pride in our Women’s team, and with Platinum’s support we can tell more stories about the amazing role models who are involved in the club and that young players should aspire to. Growing the girls and women’s game is a priority for the region and this is another great step in the right direction and I’m sure the players will appreciate the support,” Wright added.

Platinum Recruitment also want to give back to people as part of their partnership with the club.

“Over the season we will be running giveaways and promotions on what is happening with the team, as well as some interesting insights into some of the players on both Southern United’s media and our own,” the Platinum Recruitment Director mentioned.

“Like and share our [Platinum Recruitment] post on Facebook to be in the draw to win one of five signed football shirts. With the season these guys are about to have, it could become a coveted piece of sports memorabilia!” Harmes added.
