There was one nomination for 1st XI and Club Captain, Thomas Flint. Tom has led the 2nd XI expertly over the last two seasons, achieving promotion in his first year with a youthful team - many who have now stepped up to the 1sts - and securing safety with matches to spare last season.

Tom was unanimously voted in and we wish him all the best in his new role, as the 1st XI aim to bounce back from relegation to get promoted from Division 5A this season.

2nd XI Captain

With Tom Flint moving into his 1st XI role, the 2nd XI role was made vacant and also had one nomination. Rohan Patel, now in his third season with the club, has had prior experience skippering at this level and has been Tom's deputy in a number of matches in the 2023 season.

We're very excited to see how Rohan will go as 2nd XI captain, with the team aiming to consolidate their position in Division 6B and even challenge for promotion after a solid mid-table finish last season.

Honorary Secretary

With Ivan Ninkovic stepping down after a decade in the role, there were no prior or on the night nominations for Club Secretary. Ivan will continue as Fixtures Secretary for 2024 and hopefully beyond.

However, since the AGM we're delighted to announce that Finian Gibson has put his name forward to take on the role in 2024. We welcome Finian on board, and it is wonderful to see another new face in the Committee.
