Chris was ever present at the club throughout his entire life, as was his dad Frank before him. A regular 1st team player, playing in the Second row and was 1st team captain back in the 1980's. Chris looked after the grounds and marked out the pitches for decades, a club man through and through, he will be sadly missed by all

*Family announcement*

On the 12th February our dad threw his last punch in his fight against cancer.

After an overwhelming outreach of support from family and friends, we can confirm that his funeral will be held on at 2pm on Thursday 12th March at All Saints Church, Wigston.
The service will then continue at Wigston Cemetery at 3pm, followed by a gathering at 4pm at his beloved South Leicester Rugby Club.

All are welcome to join us in remembering our dad, however we ask that minimal black is worn, and his South Leicester Rugby Club family wear their club attire.
