Normally at this time of the year we would be celebrating and acknowledging the performances of all of our players at every level and recognising the invaluable work of our volunteers. We will do so as soon as possible with the Mini and Junior age grade teams awards being published next weekend. All of the winners will receive their awards as soon as we are allowed to use the club facilities safely again.

In relation to the club and grounds. As normal at this time of year and in line with many Leicestershire clubs, while abiding by the restrictions of the situation the club and grounds are sadly currently closed. We will reopen as soon as possible once the reviewed restrictions are outlined by the government and the RFU.

In order to provide excellent standard playing surfaces when we hopefully restart in September the pitches have been seeded and therefore we respectfully request that no one uses the pitch surfaces until further notice to allow the management of the pitches and to also ensure we are abiding by the government guidelines.

After a really difficult season the club is really looking forward to starting again as soon as possible and will endeavour to provide you with key updates as soon as we can. The club really values the South rugby family, players, coaches, supporters, sponsors and volunteers and look forward immensely to when we can all meet again safely and begin a new era of great rugby at South Leicester RFC.
