Main Sponsor’s EFT have this week been competing at the IFSEC engineers of tomorrow event in London; It’s with no great surprise EFT came out on top bringing home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place award for demonstrating their outstanding skills and knowledge in Fire Security.
First year appreciate and current 1st XV prop, Callum Tootle working alongside collegiate Chris Lomax, ‘smashed it’ the words of company director, Jordan Duggan. As the duo were victorious in overall competition therefore securing them a spot at the Fire and Security Excellence Awards in November!
Callum’s accolade is a true testament to the significant partnership we have with the Cobden Road based company as we work closely with EFT to help reach out to the youth within our ranks and the community to educate them about how their apprenticeship schemes can further develop life skills for a better future ahead.
Ladies player, Jenny Carney has recently joined EFT as a trainee engineer whilst we are now delighted to announce that this August U18 Colt, Col Leech and U17 Colt, Max Tolson will be joining the ranks working alongside senior players such as Jamie Rodd!
Southport RFC is extremely proud of Callum’s achievement and would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation for the fantastic support EFT offers the Club and its players, long may it continue!
