Despite the heavy rain and some trepidation after noticing Hailsham’s slick warm up routines, Southwick produced an explosive display – most fitting for a Bonfire Night match.

Southwick settled quickly into the game with some quick and incisive passing, and by half time had a comfortable 2:0 lead. Indeed, the only problem seemed to be how to differentiate between the two Sarahs and Izzys! Just as well this was resolved, as Mossy, Izzy and Candy scored two goals apiece – the final score, a 6:0 victory to the reds!

Six goals is our biggest haul so far, whilst a clean sheet also underlines a strong defence, Marianne only touching the ball once! Well done to everyone for a strong team performance, to player of the match Leanne, and to Judith for our much needed celebratory teas!
