A comfortable season for the 1sts, Jamie Bird is top scorer, however they fail to push on in the league due to a high number of draws.
Cup Sussex Plate Runners up
Wins over St Francis (4-2) and Saxons (5-0) mean a 2nd consecutive final vs Crowborough, however despite coming from 2-0 down they lose 3-2 to a late goal by the crows

A Return to the club from James Kifford, Alex Coppleman and Mark Ansell, plus new arrival Anthony McAllistair from Coventry helped them establish themselves in thier new division, although they missed out on a top 3 finish
Cup Sussex Plate Winners
A 8-2 first round win vs Penguins, led to a semi with St Francis which was won 3-1 away. They claimed the trophy for the first time in the clubs history with a 4-3 win over Crowborough in the final at Brighton's home ground

Immediate promotion back to Div 1, as juniors Brandon Folkes and Ryan Nicholas established themselves. Captain Jamie Bird's 40 league goals ensured 2nd spot

Relegation from the Kent Sussex league and the Sussex league restructures saw 2 average seasons from the 1sts - failing to go back up finishing 3rd in the Sussex Area division then coming 8th in the new Sussex Open Div 1
2003 - 2009 The Kent/Sussex Years
Having won promotion a very strong Southwick team spent 6 seasons in the Kent Sussex system, with a high finish of 4th they generally survived as a low to mid table team before being releegated in 08/09 season despite finishing 9th
2002/03 League Champions
Southwick finished top of the whole Sussex League structure wining the league comfortably losing only one game of the 20 they played scoring over 100 goals
