Wickers got a surprising but well earnt win against high flying Blackheath and seriously dented their promotion hopes.
Keeper Matt Scrase appreciated that this first clean sheet of the season was instrumental in this emphatic win away. Blackheath had been undefeated for 24 games at home but were soundly beaten by Wickers.
Goals from Matt Rickson and Antony McAlister came from penalty corners, but Wickers were solid throughout perhaps the start of a climb away from the bottom for Wickers.
