It is with sadness we announce that Snowy passed away on 31st January after a struggle with illness.

Snowy played second row in the 70s when the club was based at St Catherine Meadow,he was one of the numerous members who helped build the clubhouse there. Although not the tallest second row he was a powerhouse in the scrum and very mobile around the field. Snow loved the social side of rugby, the after game drink with teammates and opposition,he was instrumental, along with the late Monty Knight and other senior members, in getting the players to sing . His rendition of “trailer for sale or rent ( king of the road) was legendary. Snow will be sorely miss by all . R.I.P. mate. Our thoughts go out to his wife Brenda and family at this sad time.
