Sunday 30th December saw around 60 Spencers Wood youth and ladies players, coaches and parents join in a 3 hour kick around session in aid of Oliver’s Fight Against Neuroblastoma. The adults ended up in a 16 a side refereed by one of our under 9 team, and everyone enjoyed a penalty shoot out.
A fantastic £360 was raised on the day through donations and refreshment sales. It was a great way to burn off a few mince pies (even if some of the adults were hobbling afterwards!), all in aid of a very relevant local cause. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, donated refreshments and helped organise the day.
