Following a challenging period of discussion and soul searching, it is with some regret, that we have taken the decision not to enter a Lancashire Spinners men's team into the National League this coming season.

Although the decision was not easy, the individuals involved in the behind the scenes management of the club have all been involved in the highest level of basketball in this country in some capacity. That experience has led to the collective decision that we are not willing, as a club, to compromise our obligations to those who have supported the team since day one, and more importantly, the local community. When the team is ready, (and it will be ready!!!), it will be sustainable, and will set the benchmark for those around us....

The Spinners has always been, and will always be ,about the communities we live and play in. Rest assured we will continue to support our junior programmes, and when the time is right......

WE WILL BOUNCE BACK!
