A late Marvellous Onabirekhanlen goal saw Khalsa snatch all three points from their first ever meeting with Stockport Georgians on Saturday.
Despite chances for both sides, and with Khalsa having seen a goal chalked off by the officials as well as having hit the woodwork, the game looked to be heading for stalemate until Marvellous struck with his first goal since returning to Noose Lane.
The three points saw Khalsa keep pace with the leading pack with a massive derby against AFC Wolverhampton City to come in Tuesday night at the GWA.
