Khalsa had a much changed side with seven chances from Saturday due to injuries but started off well when James McGrady scored in the sixth-minute from a free kick. Khalsa were on top of the game but the home side did not have long to wait for the equaliser when Tom Scully scored. On 35 minutes Leek took the lead via Campbell.

Khalsa came out with renewed vigour in second half and had an early attempt from Grewal-Pollard who advanced down the left to shoot across Myles, who was equal to the effort. Leek further increased lead in the 54th minute as Alex Hurst slotted the ball wide of Arnold to slot the ball in from a tight angle on the left.

On 76 minutes Khalsa made it very interesting has McGrady scored his second, a long kick from Myles was headed back out of defence and Ward played a long through ball to McGrady who split the centre halves as he finished calmly past Myles.

This lead to a nervous 15 minutes for the home side but Khalsa had a couple of decent attempts but could not find the equaliser.
