Spalding United 2 Sporting Khalsa 1
Dylan Edge (64') Miracle Okafor (20')
James Clifton (76')
Khalsa were forced to play the same line-up from Saturday due to injuries and suspension.
There was a 15-minute delay to the start of proceedings due to crowd congestion outside the ground.
Khalsa broke the deadlock midway through the first half with a long ball that released Miracle Okafor and he raced clear of the Spalding defence before slotting his finish into the bottom corner of the net. Spalding almost produced an instant response as James Clifton's cross was palmed by Arnold into the path of Broccoli who sent his shot over the crossbar.
Spalding dominate the rest of the half but Khalsa defended well and also looked dangerous on the break as they held their advantage until the interval.
Spalding equalised after 64 minutes when Clifton pulled the ball back to Danny Draper whose low shot was blocked by the legs of Arnold but fell for Edge to rifle home the rebound.
And they took the lead with 14 minuites remaining Spalding scored the winner as Khalsa were down to 10 men with Tesfa Robinson having treatment for injury, Broccoli and Edge both shots blocked with the ball rebounding to Clifton who arrowed his finish into the roof of the net.
Khalsa were forced to push more men forward in search of an equaliser but Spalding survived to secure their place in the final.
