Deano joined Squires Gate in 2017 and scored 56 goals for the club, with his 50th coming in this season's FA Vase match against Garforth Town. With 14 goals to his name already this season, Ing joins his new club full of confidence.

Cementing himself as a firm fan favourite over the last few seasons, Deano has contributed to some of Gate's most memorable moments in recent years. The standout was a hattrick in last year's 5-0 FA Cup victory over Maine Road broadcast live to the nation on BBC Sport. He also grabbed a brace in this season's 6-4 FA Cup victory over Macclesfield in front of our record crowd at the Brian Addison Stadium, as well a scoring the only goal in the next round against North Shields to progress into the 2nd Qualifying Round, matching our club record in the competition. 'Mr FA Cup' will be truly missed.

We sincerely thank Deano for all his time and efforts with us here at Gate, and wish him all the very best for his time at Colne and his future career. We'd also like to place on record our thanks to Colne for their professionalism in negotiations.

Manager Luke Evans said: "Deano leaves with our best wishes, he has been a joy to work with but we're not a club that stands in the way of peoples careers.

"I hope to see him smashing in the goals, and as a club we will grow.

"Squires Gate will forever be in his heart and we hope to see him and his wonderful family very soon."
