Why did you start supporting Squires Gate?
When I came back from living in the Lakes in 2016 I was fed up with going down to Wolves and all the hassle of that and just wanted to watch a game of football on a Saturday. Initially I thought it would be the occasional game, but the club got in my blood. Everyone is so friendly and it's nice to have a chat and feel welcome. I've been a season ticket holder for 3 years now and in recent times have really missed my outlet. I remember coming back from Italy from a holiday on a Saturday and just about got to the game even though I was shattered. We lost 0-4, but I didn't regret it!

3. BOYDY'S LAST GASP WINNER AGAINST NORTHWICH VICS
Finally this goal is more on the importance of it than the quality. A couple of seasons ago we had started really badly and hadn't won a game going into October and seemed to be free falling towards relegation. We played a midweek game against Northwich Victoria and James Boyd scored the winner in injury time from long range which bobbled along the pitch after their keeper had over committed himself. It sparked a revival and the season looked up from there. You could see me in my bright green coat on the club video jumping up and down like a madman as it went in!

2. RYAN RILEY - The dead-ball specialist
Secondly and I'm up for help with a particular goal, but at this level you would struggle to find a better deliverer of a dead ball than Ryan Riley and I've had the pleasure of seeing some cracking free kicks, so many of Ryan's specials!

1. DEAN ING HATRICK (vs Maine Road)
Purely because of it's coverage, my favourite Gate goals have to be the ones that Dean Ing got in the televised FA Cup game. Dean's my favourite player and I'd spent a few days telling my mates what a good player he is and he really delivered!
