Club president and groundsman Brian Addison today picked up second place in The Groundsman of the year award for Step 5 and 6 clubs.

The award ceremony took place at The FA's St Georges Park in Burton and was attended by the final six from each step in the non league pyramid.

The award covers all 14 leagues at Step 5 and 17 leagues at step 6 and is voted for by an independent committee.

Brian came in as runner up to winners Wembley FC of the Spartan South Midlands Football League in London.
