Despite coming in at half time 3-0 to the good, with two from Michael Anastasiou and a bullet header from Captain on the day Bailey Kontor. The Academy were given a run for their money and within seven minutes were pegged back to 3-2 before taking another stranglehold on the game with a cracker from Devonte Aransibia and another from top scorer Kieran Roland.

A short corner from Devonte Forsythe-Young found Hussain Shah who moved the ball onto Michael Anastasiou on the edge of the box and his effort seemed to catch everyone on the hop including the keeper who was caught out on his near post.
Inbetween making it 2-0, Peter Hart pulled off a stunning double save from close range and Bailey Kontor made it two after another Devonte Forsythe-Young corner.

The Academy's forward play was causing Percival all sorts of problems but Kieran Roland was twice thwarted by the Percival keeper, first from he move of the match back to front involving Kia Worrow-Ford into Kieran Roland just inside his own half who set Michael Anastasiou, who released Hussain Shah down the left with a beautiful searching ball and his cross found Kieran Roland again at the back post but his effort was pushed round the post and then after a great turn and shot which looked destined for the top corner but the finger tips of the keeper denied Kieran Roland again.

Percival were proving no pushovers but a mixture of Peter Hart & woeful finishing and a post they were being kept at bay and five minutes before half-time the Academy seemed to put the result beyond the home side as Michael Anastasiou got his second after beautifully finding the bottom corner from outside the box.

The game changed after a stunning strike from the Percival captain who in truth was lucky to still be on the pitch especially after a two footed lounge on Hussain Shah but his rifled effort from fully 25 yards caught Peter Hart unawares although he may feel he could have done better after getting his finger tips to it. Percival pulled another back 4 minutes later and for a period he Academy were on the rack.

As the half progressed the Academy started to find their feet again and produced a stunning passage of play that rapped the game up. Firstly, Kieran Roland played a sharp one-two with Bailey Kontor and his speculative effort squirm under the keeper's body and five minutes later a beautiful reverse pass from Michael Anastasiou straight into the path of Devonte Aransibia who smashed his effort past the keeper.

Hussain Shah nearly added a sixth after a lovely give and go with Devonte Aransibia but his effort just missed he far post.
