Safeguarding Policy
Stafford RUFC Ltd is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults in the sport. All children and vulnerable adults are entitled to protection from harm and have the right to take part in sport in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment.
The key principles on which this policy statement is based are:
All members of Stafford RUFC who have a regular supervisory contact with children must undertake an RFU Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.

If you witness or are aware of an incident where the welfare of a child has been put at risk you must in the first instance inform the Club Safeguarding Officer. They will then inform the CB Safeguarding Manager and the RFU Safeguarding Executive.
If an incident involves the Club Safeguarding Officer you should inform the Club Chairman, Mr Tony Taylor, the Junior Chairman, or the CB Safeguarding Manager, Mr Lee Dawson or the RFU Safeguarding Executive.
