Saints played their first home "fixture" of the season as the club hosted a Ready4Rugby tournament. The University of Hertfordshire provided strong opposition as the relationship between both clubs continues to flourish.

Overall, 40 players took to the field with attacking rugby the winner as each team provided plenty of tries in a series of entertaining games. Whilst there was some fiery moments all fixtures were played in great spirits and it was very encouraging to see competitive rugby back at Boggymead.

On the playing side, George Saunders returned to action following the conclusion of the cricket season and another player made his club debut as Chris Martin impressed on his first run out. A mention must also go to Sam Howell for putting together the University side.

Thank you to all of the volunteers involved from Paul Mather and John Martin manning the BBQ and Debbie managing the bar ensuring that everyone involved enjoyed the afternoon whilst adhering to the guidelines.
