On a afternoon that brought near arctic conditions it also see the return of the Irish.
A Wet and scrappy start to the first half saw a strong STA3 get the better of Letchworth and taking advantage of the slight down hill conditions. With Scott being the only recognised front row the game had to be played uncontested and it also see Rusty Tate making his debut as Hooker.
Jack Ransome crossed the line to score after 10 mins and soon went over for his second although very nearly run through the dead ball line. Stuart Ruler standing in as Captain for the injured Mick O'Shea also added 2 tries, 1 from a rolling Maul and the other from a quick tap penalty making it 4 tries in 2 games. (Although we won't mention the 5 knock on's)
The second half sore a much welcomed improvement on the weather front and a fight back from Letchworth, 3 tries with 2 conversations though simply wasn't enough, further tries from Harry Trude, 2 from Ross Taylor and 1 from Chris Hilton took the game beyond Letchworth with 6 points also scored from Harry' Boot.
Thanks to All that turned up on the day and we would like as STA3 to wish Aiden all the best as he is off back to Ireland and thank him again for the effort and work he has done with the team since he first turned up at the club.
See you all again next week as we look to make it 3 wins in a row and climb up the merit table.
