Daniels Secure Victory

Stamford opening the scoring after four minutes when a throw in was received by Harry Vince and the midfielder crossed from the left and the ball was met by B Trialist to head home from close range.

The Daniels extended their lead on twenty one minutes when a corner from the right was pulled back to Jonathan Margetts who poked home from close range.

Margetts grabbed his second of the game five minutes before half time when he received the ball from a cross from the left and he beat the defender and slotted past the keeper.

Into the second half and Stamford secured a fourth when a long ball of the Stevenage back line was chase by Will Mellors-Blair and before he could shoot a Stevenage defender took the ball away from him but only into the path of Jack Duffy for him to score.

The scoring was complete midway through the second half when Mellors-Blair released Harry Olivant and the youngster raced through on goal and slotted the ball past the keeper.
