Stamford head to Leicestershire in the second qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The Daniels have reached this stage for the first time since 2021.

They beat Coventry Sphinx 1-0 in the last round with a goal from Jordon Cooke.

Like Coventry, Shepshed Dynamo also play in the Northern Premier League, Midland division. They are in 7th place in the division having won three and drew one of the their six league games. On Tuesday the won 3-1 against St Neots Town.

In the FA Cup, they have come through three round already. They have beaten AFC Wulfrunians, Clay Cross Town and Bourne Town. The tie against the Wakes required a replay.
