

The Daniels were without Joao Varela and Fletcher Toll due to injuries sustained against Kettering. They added loan signing James Bone to the bench.
Stamford started brightly and had a chance when a corner from Harry Vince was met by Alex Collard at the back post, but the defender could only put his header wide of the goal.
Then Banbury had a chance when Connor Ferguson received the ball in the penalty area, and his low show was deflected for a corner by Tom Jackson. This was followed by a shot by Luke Stokoe who received the ball from a long throw, but his effort skewed wide of the goal.
Just before half time, the home side took the lead. A corner from Aaron Mccreadie was met by Peter Abimbola, his header was cleared off the line by Harry Vince. The ball came back out to Mccreadie and he crossed for Josh Flanagan who placed his header past Jackson.
Into the second half and Stamford looked to get themselves level. Ryan Wilson crossed from the left, but no one was able to connect with the ball.
Then Charlie Marzano crossed from the right, and he found Kai Tonge, but he placed his header over the bar.
Two minutes later and Banbury thought they have a second when Ferguson crossed from the left and he found Chris Wreh, but he was adjudged to be offside.
Then James Bone, who has joined from St Albans City set Tonge free and the Daniels top scorer put his effort wide of the goal.
On seventy-eight minutes, Banbury scored a second. Ferguson shrugged of a Stamford defender and the ball fell to Keegan Bloom who broke into the box and fired past Jackson.
The Daniels looked to get a consolation, but they could not find a way past the Banbury backline.
