Saturday sees Belper visit the Zeeco as the Daniels play their first fixture in almost two weeks.
Belper come into the game in some strong form having won their last three games. The first was a 1-0 victory against Peterborough Sports, they then beat Loughborough 3-1 and the most recent victory was a 2-1 victory of Spalding. Before this they were on run of six without a win with the most recent of these a 5-0 loss to Corby and a 1-1 draw with Stocksbridge.
Stamford come into the game in mixed form having won two, lost two and drawn one of their last five games. The most notable of this run was the 4-1 victory over Kidsgrove. Stamford have two former Nailers in their ranks. Goalkeeper Dan Haystead played for Belper between January 2015 and December 2016. The other is centre-back Mike Armstrong who joined from the Derbyshire based side in the summer.
With victory the Daniels can move above the visitors with the potential to move as high as ninth. Belper have a -7 goal difference having conceded 30 and scored 23 from their first 18 games, seeing them gain 26 points. Stamford, however, have gained 24 points from 17 games with a +8 goal difference having scored 26 and conceded 18.
