Manager Graham Drury made one change from the defeat to Stockport County with Jack Duffy replacing Ed Cook.
The first effort of the game went to Stamford when Connor Bartle broke forward and fired a shot at Brandon Ganley in the Shepshed goal but the keeper saved the shot.
Shepshed then had a chance when a cross from the left, the ball beat Wallis but James Blunden was on hand to clear. They then had a cross from the right which former Daniels player Reece Morris just failed to connect with.
Tendai Chitiza then had a shot saved by Ganley before Bartle whipped in a cross from the left but the ball had too much pace and Jack Duffy could not reach the ball.
As the first half came to a close, Stamford had a great opportunity to open the score when Stacey Freeman unleashed a powerful shot which Ganley did well to tip over the bar.
In the second half, Stamford continued on the front foot with first Blunden having an effort saved before Mike Armstrong struck a shot which the Dynamo keeper was able to push away and the follow up was picked up by Jack Duffy who put his effort against the post.
Chitiza then cut in from the left and curled a shot towards the far corner but again Ganley was equal to it and got a hand to the ball to tip it onto the post.
Just after this, Liam Canavan set Ben Starkie free to bear down on the Daniels goal, but Blunden made up the ground to clear the danger.
Stamford continued to make chances and Michael Frew had an effort but the Shepshed keeper closed down the space tipped the ball away from danger.
Then substitute Zayn Hakeem fired a shot from the edge of the area which Ganley was able to block for a corner. Hakeem then had another chance to score but again Ganley was able to save.
Cosmos Matwasa then had a chance when teed up by Hakeem but a combination of defender and keeper blocked the shot.
Shepshed were always dangerous on the counter attack and another former red, John King had a shot but his effort was straight at Dan Wallis.
Armstrong then had another effort saved by Ganley but as the ball came out neither Jon Challinor or Hakeem to get to the ball before the keeper.
